Robert Lepage has over 35 years experience applying polyurethane foam and related materials. He initially gained his experience in the North East area of the country where superior insulation is a requirement. Recruited by a national firm in St. Paul Minnesota, Bob worked throughout the Midwest for several years and was later transferred to their Houston location. In 1979, he teamed up with an associate and formed CIA Inc., a Houston based Polyurethane Foam Roofing Contractor. CIA was primarily involved with large commercial & industrial projects; the largest being Texas A&M in 1985 at about 1/2 million square feet. CIA also achieved a 98% Customer satisfaction rating in one of the largest roofing studies ever conducted by Arizona State University....very impressive!! In 1992, Bob relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico and soon after formed The Ex-El Company.

Robert Lepage has been pictured in several foam manufacturer's brochures applying polyurethane foam including a feature article in the NASA Spinoffs 1985 publication which outlines NASA developed technologies and how they have been applied to industrial and commercial use. In this article, CIA and Bob is pictured using a Simson mixer designed for mixing urethane coating on the Texas A&M University Student Center roof.
